Most of the information in this web site has come from original research, delving into old files and records, old newspapers, government documents and files, bank records, police records, the records of mining companies, journals, and from archaeological evaluations. The trick has been to assemble and interpret the information, to use it as a starting point to ferret out even more things. 

Over a very long period, many people have contributed to our knowledge of Milparinka, Tibooburra and other places mentioned.  There is no way we can include everyone who has helped, but we will try our best. The list which follows is in no particular order, no attempt has been made to say who helped more or less than another.
